I recently bought the new 10th anniversary edition of The Big Lebowski...Definitely one my favourite movies.
It's one of the few films that I can watch over and over and still enjoy it every single time.
The movie's full of great quotes and hilarious characters. John Goodman's performance always stood out for me. You rarely see this guy in a role like that but he pulled it off big time. Come to think of it he's also done a lot of voice acting roles for animated films.
Anyways…did a sketch of his character, Walter Sobchak and cleaned it up in flash...I've been continuing to draw in flash a lot since the internship this summer. I want to stay in good practice cause I’m seriously considering doing the clean up for my 4th year film digitally. In terms of clean up style, I love how you can achieve a really bold hierarchy of line fairly quickly and easily. So...y'know...practice makes perfect.
PS. I'm in love with my new moleskin sketch book. It’s like a little new testament of doodles. Can anyone tell me what the hell the little pocket in the back is for though? I have a few ideas haha.
I'm a Sheridan Animation Alumni currently working at Six Point Harness Studios as an animation director. I was born and raised in Toronto but now reside in Los Angeles. Thanks for taking a look at my stuff.
